Besides the variable speed drive system, the Jet J-8201VS vertical bandsaw includes a sturdy cast iron frame, and a solid one piece steel base for extra stability to carry out precise cuts. You won’t feel too much vibration when using this tool. The On and Off switch of the vertical bandsaw is conveniently located on the left side of the tool within easy reach of your workpiece.

The Jet J-8201VS bandsaw is designed with a 230V (prewired 115V) single phase, 1HP motor. For metal cutting, the blade speed can be adjusted from 90 to 340 SFPM with a maximum speed of 2,600 SFPM available for wood.

The work table on the Jet J-8201VS vertical bandsaw is square, measuring 14″ by 14″, and the table attachment is also adjustable with the ability to tilt 45 degrees to the right and 15 degrees to the left. In addition, the bandsaw includes two blades (a 14 TPI soft metal cutting blade and a 6 TPI wood cutting blade). Ig also carries a 2 year warranty for non-commercial users.
