Working in the family auto-glass and upholstery business, using a rivet gun was a daily task. We always had at least one restoration going of our own and another couple customer’s cars as well. The Milwaukee M12 cordless rivet gun would have been a great tool to have.

Fast-forward to today, and there’s still at least one old car in the shop. We put the M12 rivet gun to work right away. This is a very simple tool to use and it performs as expected. The tip of the Milwaukee rivet tool fits into most tight spaces, including window channels. Using the Milwaukee rivet tool is as simple as putting a rivet in the tip and pulling the trigger. Not only does the M12 pop the rivets, but it also collects all the shanks in the rear compartment.

Conclusion

Milwaukee Cordless Rivet GunWhen it all boils down, this M12 cordless rivet gun is a convenience tool that either makes sense for you, or not. This is a well-built tool that has performed flawlessly for us in the shop. The tall-upright characteristic of the M12 Rivet Tool allows it to fit in places that a pistol-style tool would not. The bare-tool price of $169 will fit the bill for some but may be too steep for others. We like the Milwaukee rivet gun, and we encourage you to go check it out for yourself. You may be surprised.

You can find the Milwaukee M12 Cordless Rivet Gun at the Home Depot.
