( votes)Mechanics, woodworkers, and most other workers in the trades need an impact wrench that they can count on. The Makita XDT14T impact driver does this and more. Even though this Makita impact only weighs 3.3 lbs and is less than 5-inches long, it still delivers 1550 in-lbs of torque. Plenty enough power to drive screws and lags. Furthermore, the twin 5.0 Ah batteries in the kit provide more than enough runtime for the full day.

The Makita XDT14T delivers the power, and additional features improve performance for specific tasks. You choose from 3 speeds: 0-1100, 0-2100, and 0-3600 RPM. Impacts Per Minute (IPM) follow suit with 0-1100, 0-2600, and 0-3800. Creating this rotational force is a BL Brushless motor electronically controlled for max efficiency. Furthermore, the “T” mode (Tightening) allows for faster tightening of self-drilling screws, preventing damage to your workpiece and screws.
