Milwaukee M12 Rocket Dual Power Tower Light

As a more compact light, the M12 Rocket is much smaller than its M18 counterparts but keeps the sliding extension design. With the press of a button, you slide the legs out to stabilize it. Reversing the process is just as easy.

Fully collapsed, the light is just 2’7″ long. Fully extended, it reaches up to 5’8″ and has a second height position it locks into about halfway in between.

You can pivot the head 270º and rotate it 210º. Between that and simply turning the whole light if you need to, the only angle you won’t be able to hit is straight down.

The Milwaukee M12 Rocket Tower Light has two power modes: 1400 lumens on high and 700 lumens on low. Using a 6.0 Ah M12 battery, you can expect to get roughly 4 hours on high and 10 hours on low.

That’s if you choose to use a battery, though. One of the highlight features is that you can also plug this light in with an extension cord and not worry about runtime at all.

Pricing

You can pick up the light by itself for $149 and there aren’t any kit options currently. Since it has an AC plug, you can certainly use the M12 Rocket by itself, but it’ll be more versatile if you have batteries to use with it.
