Due out in December, and hopefully before Christmas, Milwaukee plans to release a new tool chest. The Milwaukee 46″ High Capacity Steel Storage Combo brings together the classic durability that you would expect from just about any steel tool chest, along with the game-changing innovation we’ve come to expect from Milwaukee.

What Makes This Tool Chest So Great?

“Nothing But Heavy Duty” has been Milwaukee’s motto for a while, and their general emphasis on durable tools hasn’t been lost on this product. The Milwaukee 46-Inch High Capacity Steel Storage Combo provides rugged durability through thicker gauge steel, a reinforced angle iron frame, 6″ heavy-duty casters, and edge protectors on all sides.

This new tool chest offers 18 drawers, each one including 100 lb soft close slides. The two bottom drawers feature moveable dividers, and the chest includes two full-size middle shelves. The whole thing has a total weight capacity of 2500 lbs, and with an improved 22″ depth, fitting all your tools into one location shouldn’t be much of an issue.

The Storage Combo features a built-in power center with USB ports so that you can keep all your tools and other gadgets powered up. The power tool organizer keeps your tools upright.

The Milwaukee 46-Inch High Capacity Steel Storage Combo comes available in December at select distributors. It should retail for right around $999.

A tool chest is a tool chest is a tool chest, right? This might be the case the vast majority of the time, but we got a chance to look the new Steel Storage Combo over at the 2017 Milwaukee NPS Show, and it did look pretty cool. We liked the depth of the unit, the power supplies, the soft close slides, and the general attention to durability.

The obvious selling point for this item revolves around the cabinet’s available space. At 46″ tall and 22″ deep, and with a 2500 lb max weight capacity, this rolling tool chest has the adequate space to store all your tools. This item ought to work well for any tradesmen or DIYer who enjoys a good feature set with a high amount of storage.
