Stainless Sliding Tops

Three drawers and a lockable top section offer the majority of the storage in the cart. Each drawer is 30-inches wide by 18-inches deep, while the total top area is 37 by 20 inches. With the stainless slides all the way open, you get access to an area that includes three 120V power outlets and two USB outlets. Also under the slide-top on either end is storage for long extensions and pry-bars. Openings allow these to pass all the way through the bottom panel.

Each drawer has an automatic locking handle when it closes. By lifting the handle, the drawer unlocks, allowing the user to open without hassle. The drawers can also be locked from opening by the Lock/Unlock latch under the sliding tops. A barrel-style key locks the stainless sliders on the Sunex service cart, and this top area can be locked, independent of the drawers. Locking the top slides and the top area will keep your electronics secure.

Final Thoughts

The Sunex Service Cart with sliding stainless top is a really useful cart. Sliding stainless tops, rather than a typical lid, sets the Sunex Tools cart apart from the rest. This will get a lot of use in our shop, as it’s now our go-to service cart. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone. We would like to see a little more attention to detail on some the stainless edges, they can be a little sharp. Also, 5-inch rubber casters with lever-locking wheels and spindles would go a long way as well.
