Northern Tool just opened a brand new store in Lakeland, FL, which just happens to be where Shop Tool Reviews is headquartered. They contacted us and asked if we’d like a backstage tour before the doors opened. Are you kidding me? This is like the working mans candy store. Of course we would.

Welding and Metalwork
From welding to grinding, cutting, and drilling, and even consumables. You can find all of it inside a Northern Tool store. They have a full line of Klutch welders. This is their in-house brand that many times sells for a fraction of the name brands. We actually just reviewed the Klutch MP200iDV multiprocess welder, the link is in the description, be sure to check that out. It’s not just the machines and equipment they have either. Northern Tool stocks a ton consumables for metalworking. You can find MIG wire, TIG filler wire, torch tips, ground leads, and your all-important PPE. You can also find a plethora of grinding wheels, flap discs, wire wheels, and cut-off wheels.

You can get a backpack sprayer for killing weeds, an ATV mounted sprayer with an electric motor for your Ranch, or you can step up to a truck-mounted unit that’s ready to tame your groves and orchards. They also have a full line of accessories to complement and maintain the sprayers.
Generators
Northern Tool carries the Honda inverter generators that are super-quiet, and they also have their own line of ultra-quiet generators. The Powerhorse inverter models come in 2,000 and 3,500 watt sizes. Jobsite generators up to 15KW.
Pressure Washers
Whether you’re looking to clean your driveway, wash your car, or start a power washing business, Northern Tool has a pressure washer to fit the bill. In the gas-powered format, they go from 2-wheel cart units that output 4,000 psi and 4 GPM, all the way up to a self-contained trailer unit you can buy right inside the store. The NorthStar branded washers are assembled in the USA, in Minnesota.
