Available with a paddle switch and a brushless motor, this new cordless grinder has all the features to help you get the job done right, but also to keep you OSHA-compliant while doing it.

What’s The Big Deal?
Since the brand released their AWS technology to help with cordless dust extraction on the jobsite, they’ve steadily been introducing tools to work with the system. The Makita 18V X2 LXT 7-Inch Grinder will connect to your Makita dust extractor via Bluetooth, signaling to the dust extractor when to power itself on and off. With the Dust Extraction Surfacing Shroud (sold separately) in place, you can grind and cut away while staying out of dutch with OSHA.
In addition to that, the Makita 18V X2 LXT 7-Inch Grinder also features a brushless motor, an electric brake, a soft start feature, and vibration control. For added safety, Makita also includes two more features to keep you injury-free. The Active Feedback-sensing Technology immediately turns off the motor if the tool senses the wheel bind up. Also, this grinder includes anti-restart protection, which keeps the motor from firing up when the battery is inserted when the switch is locked on.
