At Milwaukee’s recent New Product Symposium for 2018, we got the chance to take a look at all the product releases the company has planned for the upcoming year. One of the big upcoming breakthroughs for the brand, the Milwaukee 9-Inch Large Angle Grinder, runs on the brand updated M18 Fuel battery platform.

The new Milwaukee 9-Inch Large Angle Grinder uses the standard 5/8″ spindle and supports either 7″ or 9″ wheels for grinding large diameter black pipe. It includes a switch trigger and ergonomic handle. The new grinder also features overload protection, an electronic clutch, and tool-less guard changes.

Operating off the brand’s new high output 12.0 Ah battery, Milwaukee has designed the grinder to make around 10 4″ bevels, or around 100 cuts on angle iron per charge. It weighs just under 12 lbs with the battery attached.

Look for the Milwaukee 9-Inch Large Angle Grinder to hit stores sometime in late July or early August of this year. It will be available as part of a kit or as a bare tool.
