Performance and capacity aren’t the only things Milwaukee was after, the M18 Deep Cut Dual-Trigger saw also includes enhancements for durability. Job Site Armor technology uses composite material and crush zones to absorb impacts from accidental drops. In addition, Milwaukee included an all-metal direct drive, rather than a chain-drive, providing longer life and less servicing, while clutch protects the gear and motor from blade lock-ups and jams.

Our Thoughts

We love the corded Milwaukee deep cut band saw, so we’re pretty sure we’ll love it even more without the cord. It’s assumed that the 2 included 5Ah batteries should last most users a full day. Once we get one in the shop for testing, we’ll be sure to post our finding on the runtime, performance, and ergonomics. This Milwaukee M18 FUEL Deep Cut Dual-Trigger band saw should hit the shelves of your favorite tool shop sometime in November 2019.
