This review is just copy and past from various websites, Its obviously not a real test of the shear as it will not cut 18g let alone 16g steel sheet. I quick view of Northen Tools website will confirm this. If you are going to review a tool at least test it first !

This is not a Review of the foot shear. Our Reviews will actually say “Review” in the title, and will most likely have ratings at the top of the article. This was merely a mention of a press release for a new-ish tool. Nowhere in the article did we talk about using it or the performance we encountered.

Amazon can sadly no longer be trusted as many sellers buy their own products and post dozens of 5 star reviews. Amazon also censor negative reviews  to obtain more sales. I realize no one site can afford to purchase all the tools necessary to fill a site… Read more »

Apologies, Phil—didn’t mean to put words in your mouth. We try to provide as many unbiased reviews as possible. we try to limit bias by providing objective data wherever possible. That easier for some tools than others—and we strive to improve our methods and processes each year. As for user reviews—they’re always welcome. Just realize that in-between those reviews and shootouts we publish tool previews and editorials.
