Metabo’s KFM 16-15 F Beveler can put a perfect 45-degree bevel on steel and stainless steel plate, as well as pipe (steel or stainless).  The Metabo portable steel plate beveler can bevel up to 5/8″ steel or stainless without flinching. With a 14.2A motor and 3 carbide cutting bits, the Metabo beveler cuts through steel like butter. Maybe not hot butter, but like regular butter.

Not only does the Metabo have tons of power, but it also includes soft-start technology for ramping up all that power. Also, Metabo included overload protection with their beveler. Even when you have the big and tough jobs, if the tool overheats or senses overload, it will shut down without harming any of the internal parts. Once the tool cools back down, normal operation is resumed.
