Ryobi Power Scrubbers Units

Ryobi’s new cleanup tools have just now hit the shelves and they have three different cordless units to choose from. Two of the tools are powered by the 18V One+ batteries, while the smaller tool uses an onboard 4V battery that’s charged by a USB cable. All Ryobi cordless scrubbers come with a medium-bristle brush, however, you can also purchase soft and hard bristle brushes as well. The IPX7 rating ensures they can operate under 3-feet of water for up to 30 minutes.

Ryobi P4400 and P4510You get a small somewhat pistol-grip tool that spins a 3-inch bristle brush. The onboard 4-volt battery is located within the grip and the USB charging port is covered by a rubber plug on the end of the handle. For such a small tool, power and torque is very impressive. The power scrubber brush utilizes a typical 1/4″ hex shaft, just like the normal impact driver bits. Just a simple on/off push-button signals power on the P4400, and a rubber membrane covers the button. The Ryobi P4400 sales for just $49, including the battery and USB charging cable.

This P4500 telescoping power scrubber really expands the capability of the cordless cleaning tool. In addition to the 51-inch telescoping shaft, you also get a 6-position articulating head. Easily change the position of the head with a quick push of a button. We used the Ryobi P4500 to clean a composite deck which made it a very quick job and really easy. You can purchase the P4500 for $99as a bare tool.

Fitting in the middle of the 3-tool pack is the P4510 handheld 18-volt power scrubber. This uses the same 6-inch brush than the P4500 and is powered by the 18V One+ battery system. Again, the power and torque delivered to the bristles is very impressive. We used this for scrubbing some old tires and wheels and it worked very well. It kept spinning even when we really leaned on it. The Ryobi P4510 is $69 as a bare tool.
