Bosch GLL40-20G Green Laser Video Review – Self Leveling
If you’ve ever used a laser level in broad daylight, then you know it can be hard to see. The Bosch GLL40-20G green laser is the remedy for your dim outlook. A green laser is up to 4-times brighter than its red cousin. We proved this to be true setting ours up in our shop during the broad Florida daylight. The green crossline laser could be easily seen on our white shop door.
Bosch GLL40-20G Green Laser Features
The Bosch GLL40-20G green laser kit comes complete with the laser head, soft case, versatile mount, and even 2x AA batteries. Literally, you can buy the laser, open the box, and use it on the jobsite without any other purchase. Turning the GLL40-20G laser “On” unlocks the laser cross beam and it quickly finds level. Switching to the “Off” position locks the laser projector, protecting it for storage and travel.
The crossbeam pattern of the Bosch GLL40-20G green laser provides you with a level horizontal line, and a vertical line to keep things plumb. Accuracy for the Bosch GLL40-20G is +/- 5/16″ over 30 feet, and it has a visible range up to 40-ft. An included clamp makes it easy for attaching the laser to any 2x material, such as a truss, stud, joist, or sawhorse. It also attaches to any typical stand or tripod with the popular 1/4-20 thread size.
This Bosch GLL40-20G green laser is an easy recommendation. If you’re in the need for a cross-beam laser and you want to use it in the daylight, this is a sensible purchase. The green laser is only a few bucks more than the red counterpart, so it’s worth the difference. The simple operation and small footprint allow for easy transport and storage, whether it’s in your car/truck or toolbox. You can find the Bosch GLL40-20G at the Home Depot, or you can click here.
